Wood Elf Ram: Has many names. Native to Irilandia’s eastern uplands. Lives in and around An Seanchoill Mhór (The Big Old Wood). Robust, large ram size of pony, hardy, strong. Climbs, jumps, excellent footing. Hardy to magic, moves through fairy woods without fear. Roams all over Irilandia. Now rare. First seen as mount of wood elves. Usually white, scraggily long ear.

Loony Eyed Rabbit, Loony Rabbit, Runic Rabbit: Native to Irilandia’s eastern uplands. Lives in and around An Seanchoill Mhór (The Big Old Wood). A fast rabbit with long legs and very long ears. Glowing runic marks on skin. Short hair, almost hairless. Long thin tail, sometimes 2 tails. Gnarled short roots, branches, and brambles may grow from back. Is a fairy creature, part of fae folk, magical, not a normal rabbit. Humans consider it bad luck to harm one, draws anger of fae folk.

Irish Runic Cat: Native to Irilandia’s eastern uplands. Lives in and around An Seanchoill Mhór (The Big Old Wood). A large sturdy cat around 9-18 pounds with long white fur on its chest and belly but short dark fur on rest of body adorned with deep glowing circular runes and runic marks, antenna, ears, long tail with white tip. Considered magic creature, elusive, minds own business. Can be tamed, but difficult.

Rune Demon: Aggressive creature in Irilandia Southwest interior, Foggy Weave forest. A long lived, dull blotchy purple, hairless, triangle flat face with mouth of sharp pointed teeth, runic glowing circle where eye should be, no eyes, runic lines on flesh, clawed. Presses flat face onto forest floor and sucks, but never seems to consume anything. Frightening. Blends in with forest. May ignore people, may not. Is a fairy creature, some believe it appeared when the wood elves were driven out by men.

Fae Hound: Native to An Seanchoill Mhór (The Big Old Wood) located in Eastern Uplands of Irilandia. Creature: Fae Hound or Seezalkram. A hairless pale hound-like animal native to An Seanchoill Mhór. Extremely dangerous. Usually solitary. Long front arms with grasping clawed hands, canine back legs, long hairless tail, elongated muzzle, teeth, long ears, dull pale eyes, drools blue or purple colored spittle. Males marked with black lines on neck. White or pale color, no fur. Silent, stalks, creeps, lunges, may attack from above via hiding in trees. Bites, shakes, rolls, and claws prey. Will stalk target for days.

Slaves: Bokosh and Glarbash

Slaves General Skolexari have a lot of different slave species but I invent them as I need them, and so I won’t create aliens just to fill the space. Slavery involves a small percentage of the Empire’s total population, but it is an established and highly visible industry.  Skolexari don't like aliens, many of them find owning a slave weird, distasteful. They have 2 distinctions for aliens (slaves). Aliens (glarbash or bokosh) live in constant danger if unregistered (without Master). No recognition of personhood. Registered slave becomes property, protected by Skolexari property laws. Skolexari primarily use aliens as a food source, which they call exotic meat. Unwanted glarbash or bokosh are sold at Skolexari slave markets. A Skolexari may watch the auctions for an alien that looks like they would make a good slave, buy them, and hope for the best. If something doesn't work out, the slave can easily be re-sold at the market to someone else. Most Bokosh don’t make good pets or ...
