He would give his life for her. If he must, such as in public settings, says Pigeon is his slave to protect her secret freedom as human on crew. Very close to her, he understands she trusts him in a profound, sacred way and he won’t do anything to betray that trust. If anything ever happened to him, ship goes to Pigeon.][Pavot sees Pigeon as being sweet, fragile, intelligent.]

Buys things for him, knows he is poor and has nothing, never makes a show out of it, wants nothing in return. Hopeful Kipper will grow in tolerance, be a hero for others throughout life.]

Trusts her, though she’s a bit abrasive sometimes which he shrugs off as a Skolexari issue.]

Sweet, noncombatant, cooks and cleans cheerfully, seems happy. Pavot feels Minx’ii is not interesting to talk to but his warm nature makes for a good friend.]

A free human part of one of the rebel networks in Skolexari space, a feisty, brave, high-energy young woman with red hair always wearing a red kilt even though it’s for men, she says she’ll kick the ass of any man who says she can’t wear it. Ran around with Pavot 20 years ago, would adventure with him. Discovered a small golden idol, she stole it from him and ran off. Broke his heart, he’s not had a serious lover since. Still thinks of her sometimes. Isn’t angry at her, actually would like to hear from her again, to know what she’s doing but knows she may have died by now.]

[Relic: Pavot found a translucent feather on Lula’s Veil, not sure what it’s made out of, it’s forged to mimic organic life. It softly vibrates when near salt water and makes a faint musical hum. Story: Pavot traded some glass jars of fruit syrup from his homeworld to a native for the feather. It changes pitch depending on who holds it, for Korren is sounded stronger, deeper but when Pigeon held it, it went quiet.]

[Relic: Prism Bone, a broken prism that resembles a femur. Pavot is creeped out by it but not enough to sell it or throw it out, he found it on Velka’ria Prime (VA846565K) in a crypt that looked looted prior, so he thinks it was left on purpose or placed later (returned maybe?). Now jagged where it broke in 2, refracts light into colors that don’t exist on any spectrum yet leaves viewer unable to describe the colors they have seen, consumes time, almost trapping person in the spiral visual. Pavot: First time he fit the broken pieces together he was trapped in the color viewing session for 4 hours before Pigeon found him, couldn’t shake him out of it, and got Korren who knocked him onto the bed. He snapped out of it, disoriented. Since then, it’s stored in a lock-box. No one wants to touch it.]

[Relic: Chunk of a gravestone from Karve Stone (KSX86412123900), looks like nothing but is one of Pavot’s favorite relics because the planet impacted him spiritually, emotionally. Felt a deep pull, cannot explain, sadness and peace intertwined. As if whole world is a church or sacred place.]

[Relic: Pavot found a broken length of pink and green chain on Orryx-44 doesn’t know what it was used for but thought it was beautiful. Sickosy warned Pavot not to take anything from Orryx-44 but Pavot took it anyway, the chain remains cold even if held in warm hands for extended time.“Fnn. I don’t like relics that feel cold, but, my gut says it might be useful in the future.”]

[Pavot has a single lovely flower from Eirrien in his room, it looks to be made of glass but is soft, warm, and flexible. He stole it from Eirrien. Just beauty. He likes the flower a lot. “Proof the universe isn’t always trying to kill you.”]
Pigeon

Human female, early 20s, exact age unknown. Pale skin, long black hair. Missing right eye, severe facial scars, wears eyepatch or cloth veil over right eye. Remaining eye is orange, inhuman color, she doesn't know why. Petite, 5’4”, thin. Quiet, pensive, observant, tense. When she speaks, it’s for a reason. Brilliant mind, broken body. Limbs, has weak right arm. Body covered with scars. Assistant pilot on Igolcerg, navigator, collects intel, monitors ship’s system, repairs, tinkers. Highly intelligent, averse to sex or physical contact but friendly, loyal. Voice is raspy, soft, strange. Tends to observe, speaks little. Noncombatant. Doesn’t talk about past, is assumed by others she was used in a pitfighting ring as bait to train illegal beasts, injuries appear to be from animal attacks. Close to Pavot, he’s protective of her. Becomes overwhelmed easily, may have panic attacks and flee to her private quarters to recover. Only Pavot knows her past, she was the first member Zero Dogs.

Igolcerg crew, Zero Dog. Wears traditional tunics. Cute, delicate face, slender neck, slight form. Graceful, fast, poised, specific. Orphan, was dumped by mother, never found loving home, has no clan, too scared to do DNA search. Kipper is observant with Skolexari bluntness, but kind, hesitant to make enemies. Hidden anxiety, longing for deep connections, especially with mentors. A talented but young warrior still in need of refinement in training, uses gemsword, fights in close-combat specialized strikes using his small size+speed to disable targets. Learning to use plasma weapons+firearms. Abused as child, won’t talk about it, hidden scars on backside (back, thighs, butt). Has rare Black Cradle mark, tries to hide his cradle mark by covering it with leather or cloth. Is honest, good Skolexari; laughs easily, needs time to warm up to new people. Brave, steadfast, he'd never abandon someone who needed help.</Kipper>

Serious but warm, firearm expert, great shot, always reading from holo-pad, prefers team jobs+teamwork, always shares what she has with crew. Loves to dance with partner. Tends to be feisty, independent, loves to argue but never gets offended. Igolcerg crew, Zero Dog. Offended by males who try to push her around, will fight them. Tips of ears glow red when happy. Minx’ii acts as ship’s maid. Cleans, organizes, takes inventory, cooks (loves good food, eats a lot), mends clothes, does laundry. Lost without Halcore bossing him around, often asks “What can I do now?”, enjoys busy-work. Affectionate, makes light appear between his hands (Elvii'li trait). Appearance: male, 5’6”, pastel yellow skin, pastel purple hair, blushes different colors, soft skin, blunt ears, fat hairless tail, small shiny curled horns hidden in hair. Always smiling. Excellent cook, kind, submissive, chatty (talks constantly), seeks to please, easygoing, hates seeing others sad or hurt. Tries to cheer up people. Useless in combat, would try to help friends+loved ones even if terrified. Pavot is in charge of the Igolcerg but group jobs are chosen by vote, money pooled and split. Crew works together. Crew free to take individual contracts, come and go as they please. Not Pavot’s employees or soldiers, more a group who has chosen to live and work together to pool resources, transport, safety. Sometimes take big contacts as a team, then decide who has what role for the job, vote on big jobs, discuss everything. Sickosy acts as team leader on missions, Pavot stays on ship. There is no pay for being on crew, you make your own money via your own contracts or get a cut when crew does big contracts together or you help another member.]

Tattoos (arm sleeve, on neck), uses nanotech (hidden in skin, inside body). Past is secret but Fae, born on Nova Helix, against keeping humans as pets or any species as pets, rebel at heart, true freedom fighter, actually believes liberation can be achieved if playing the long game but views things differently as a Fae who will live forever (unless killed). Makes plans, patient but knows when to act. Pavot’s mentor, Verus’ word holds most weight on crew. Because of his age, tends to know something about everything, is usually right.</Sickosy>

High-tech tendrils emerge from body from back of neck to connect to organics, can read vitals, gather information, soothe mental states if tendrils connected. Hands become translucent, warm, glowing neon violet. Has no facial expressions, only uses body language and tone of voice. Tends to get stuck on one topic, techno babble, connected to Igolcerg’s ship system. Can easily transfer consciousness to new robot or external technical object. Upgrades his own body. Found by Sickosy in garbage, repaired. Attached to Zero Dog crew, empathic+seeks to relate emotionally even though he’s inorganic. Refers to self as he/him, has no reproductive or sexual organs. Makes dirty jokes, interwoven with keen warmth and true compassion. Doctor, intensely interested in organic bodies, species. Knowledgeable doctor, can perform most medical operations himself. Believes he was organic and forced into a robotic body, memories of origin fragmented, unclear. Gentle voice, plays instrumental music when believes others are stressed or hurt.</T033y>

Prefers physical activity, good food, sparring. Moderately educated. Enjoys jokes, card games, being around people. Dislikes technical jargon or long stretches alone. Fiercely loyal and protective, especially toward children or the vulnerable. In combat he shifts completely: controlled, predatory, highly disciplined, precise mastery of strength. Violence is compartmentalized, separate from his otherwise tender nature. Background: Former soldier turned freelance treasure hunter, muscle for Zero Dogs crew, carrying deep grief from lost love and a failed marriage but still hoping for a simple family life someday.
